At a glance
This primary bathroom in Toronto covers approximately 100 square feet. It took 8 months from start to finish, with a project budget of about $120,000. Main materials: Porcelain tile, custom millwork, oversized steam shower.
The brief
The clients wanted to turn an outdated, inefficient primary bathroom into a personal retreat. The existing layout didn't suit how they lived, and they had a clear wish list.
What we did
We started with the floor plan: analysing the wish list, then laying out zones for the daily routine while keeping the room open. Materials and fixtures were chosen to work together so the whole room reads as one design.
Highlights
- Custom millwork designed around the clients' storage needs
- Freestanding soaker tub as the focal point
- Oversized steam shower
- Tile selection with visual impact that will age well
The result
A bathroom that fits the way the homeowners start and end their day, and looks as good as it works.
